Not Velvet Red Velvet Cupcakes

I tried this recipe.

I opted out on baking powder / soda and food colouring [not in inventory].
I also don't have vanilla extract nor cream cheese...

It turned out satisfactory.
I ruined one, so I had enough cream to fill the rest of the cupcakes.
I reduced the sugar to about 2/3 a 1/3 cup, and only half a spoonful for the cream.

I like the shortcake bread batter the best, though.
