Gâteau au Chocolat

After going shopping, I finally managed to obtain eggs...
Anyhow, since I was there, I bought two bars of Hershey Symphony chocolate XL to make this recipe.
It originally calls for 3, but 2 for $4...

Chocolate is surprisingly hard to keep melted and smooth.
Meringue is very easy to make if you submerge the eggs in hot water for a little while.

It resulted in a good brownie-like flat cake.
It's slightly dense, but surprisingly creamy.
Maybe because the chocolate was creamy too.

I apologize for no pictures since I was in a hurry helping my friend move out.
speaking of which, my roommates left behind all their food for me.
I'm staying on campus for summer classes...
I am perpetually surprised about my grades even though I don't study.
